We Welcome You!

You Are Home!
If you’re one of the “spiritual but not religious” people who questions your childhood faith or is looking for something more, this may feel like a homecoming.

You may be one of the millions of people who have embarked on their own spiritual path. If so, you have just discovered a whole community of people like yourself. It is Unity—a spiritual movement that honors all paths to God; sees God as good and everywhere present; and affirms the spark of Divinity in all of us.

Discovered us through our Sunday celebrations, events, classes, or workshops. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we will meet you there.

If you are new to us, please explore our website to learn more about Unity, our church and our beliefs.

Greetings From Our Minister:

Hello, and welcome to Unity in Greensboro’s website.  We are so glad you are visiting with us.  We hope you will find Unity in the same light as so many others, including myself, by claiming, “I am home”.  If you are like me, you are looking for a church home or spiritual community in which you can engage and grow into understanding yourself, deepen into awareness of God, and anchor this understanding and awareness into practical life experience.  This is Unity.

Growing up in Miami, I love the sun, ocean, and most of all, the University of Miami Hurricanes – Go Canes!   My affinity for the ocean grew stronger when I enlisted and served in the Navy for five years.  It was after serving in the Navy, that I furthered my education at the University of Miami with a BA in Accounting, and later with an MBA at NOVA Southeastern University.   Although holding very rewarding jobs, life began to turn tumultuous as I engaged in the Miami night life.  It was during this time that I first stepped into a Unity church.  My life changed and transformed forever. This transformed life called (or led) me into ministry to share with others this very real, true, practical, and possible transformation.  I received a Master in Divinity from Unity Institute and was ordained as a Unity minister in June 2013.  I am truly blessed to be able to serve with the Unity in Greensboro family.

As stated above, in understanding self and through awareness of God, Unity provides practical ways to engage and thrive in this experience we call life.  It is in community that we can engage, encourage, and empower each other individually and collectively.  We hope to see you and that you join with us as and we pray, learn, serve, and grow together.  Welcome to Unity – and Welcome Home!

Peace and Blessings to you,

Rev. Stan McNeese
